Razer Seiren Emote Is an emoticon-showing microphone.

The California-based gaming hardware manufacturing company has a new microphone that can show colorful emoticons just when you figured Razer would add RGB and fancy lights to any computer.   Named Seiren Emote Razer, this is the first microphone in the world to have an integrated LED display. The display shows more than 100 animated and static emoticons based on different factors that occur during your live stream, including new followers, subscriptions and donations.

In addition, the microphone also allows you to create your own emoticons. It senses different keywords in the chat and shows specific related emoticons. For example, the Razer Seiren Emote will show the emoticon equivalent of the same, say someone sends a keyword like “king.”

Razer made the gooseneck of the microphone expandable for convenience. This way, with your current desktop setup, you can set the height you want without messing up. The microphone also has an incorporated shock brace to withstand accidental knocks.

It should be noted that the Streamer Companion app will have to be downloaded from here to allow Stream Reactive Emoticons whenever you begin a live stream.

The software supports operating systems for Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, and streaming platforms for Twitch, XSplit, Mixer, Streamlab. The company has announced that support will be added in the near future for more streaming platforms.

Razer has priced the Seiren Emote at $180 for the launch. While this microphone’s entire idea may seem a little too fancy or gimmicky, it would serve as a way to remain exclusive, until other streamers of course buy the same microphone.

So, will you consider upgrading your streaming to a Razer Seiren Emote? In the comments, let us know.
