Finally, one of the largest and most popular video game franchises on mobile devices is accessible. Activision lastly introduced its super-popular FPS franchise, Call of Duty, to Android and iOS after announcing it at its GDC 2019 event previously in the year. The game was published simultaneously in most nations around the globe, including India.

Called’ Call of Duty: Mobile,’ Tencent’s Timi studio develops a free-to-play game that includes maps, modes, weapons and personalities from across the CoD world, including the Black Ops and Modern Warfare series. It weighs in at 74 MB on Android and is compatible with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and above, while it’s a massive 1.5 GB on iOS, requiring iOS 9.0 or later.

The game will only be accessible in multiplayer mode, including classic maps like Nuketown, Crash and Hijacked. According to the Play Store and the App Store listing pages of the game, players can expect 10-player free-for-all fighting, 5-on-five deathmatch and, most notably, 100-player royal battle mode, like on PC. It will also have a “Zombies” mode, as well as a fight between sniper and sniper, the firm said.

Players can unlock and receive dozens of popular characters, guns, outfits, scorestreaks and equipment parts that can be used to customize their loadouts. They will then be able “to fight these loadouts in exciting PvP multiplayer modes such as 5v5 team deathmatch, frontline, free for all, search and destroy, sniper fight, and royal fight,” Activision said.
